This guide walks you through depositing into earnXLM, withdrawing your XLM, and claiming your weekly rewards using your DCENT hardware wallet. It also covers the most common issues that can block a transaction, and how to fix them.

earnXLM runs on Stellar, and DCENT supports Stellar natively, so you connect directly, with no bridge or intermediary.

Stellar works a little differently from most blockchains. Three things must be in order for any transaction to go through:

• Native XLM for gas: Every transaction on Stellar costs a tiny fee paid in XLM. Always keep a small amount of spare XLM in your wallet, never deposit 100% of your balance, or you'll have nothing left to pay fees.
• Minimum reserve: Stellar requires each account to keep a small permanent XLM balance (a "reserve") to stay active. This amount is locked and cannot be spent or deposited. Each asset you hold (each trustline) slightly increases this reserve.
• Trustline: To hold any asset other than XLM (including the earnXLM receipt token) your wallet must first establish a trustline to that asset. This is a one-time, on-chain action. Without it, you cannot receive earnXLM. Many interfaces prompt you to add the trustline automatically; if not, you'll need to add it manually in DCENT before depositing.

Keep these three in mind and almost every blocking case disappears.

1. Open your DCENT mobile app wallet.

2. Tap Discovery.

   

3. Paste the vault link to open it: **https://app.upshift.finance/vaults/stellar/gami-earnxlm**

   

4. Connect your DCENT wallet to Upshift.

   

5. Tap Deposit.

   

6. Enter the amount of XLM you'd like to deposit. Leave a little XLM behind for fees and your account reserve.

   

7. Sign the deposit transaction on your DCENT device.

   

8. Your funds are now deposited. You can check your position anytime on the Upshift portfolio page: **https://app.upshift.finance/portfolio**
